Dear Successful Students of the University of Turkish
Aeronautical Association,
This week, our topic is about “Time Travel.” What do you
think about this text?
Is time travel possible?
What are your comments on the theory of Einstein?
What have you learned from this text?
Where would you like to go if you had a chance to travel in
time?
All the best J

The last week’s topic was AMAZING! I really loved it. It was about time and its relationship between speed and gravity. According to the text, speed slows time, and does gravity. The passage supported that with an example which was experimented in Washington, D.C., near sea level, and mile-high Denver. It tested with an atomic clock, and this test was concluded. The result demonstrated that people in Denver age more rapidly by a tiny amount than people in Washington. This experiment brought us to A.Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity. According to his theory, the force of an object’s gravity “curves” the space in the object’s gravitational field. By the way, we watched a part from Lost about time travelling. It showed us that the time travelling is possible. Also the theory of Einstein, it is possible, too. If you reach the light velocity, the time will be stopped; and if you can pass it, you will be able to go through future. I think it is easy to say; however, we still have a lot to do. If I could take a time travel, I would go the century of Einstein’s, and I would show him it is really possible. He is the most who deserves the fact.
YanıtlaSilHave a nice holiday everyone! This reading text reminded me of Back to the Future film series. It was the most engrossing film series I have ever seen. The setting of the story is possibility of time travel. Under favour of text, I learned that there are two factors that they can effect time. The first one is speed. If a person could move at the speed of light, his/her time would stand. Also, if a person could move faster than light, his/her time would move backward. It sounds unbelievable , doesn’t it? The other one is gravity. Acording to scientific experiments, the closer you are to the Earth’s core, the slower you will age. The other surprising thing is that Albert Einstein predicted these factors in 1905. On the other hand, some scientists believe that time reversal could cause a lot of problems. For example, if a person changed something in the past, then a new line of historical development would be created. It might change some people’s existence. Throughout the years, people tried to find a way to journey between years, but they couldn’t find anything. It is my point of view that it is impossible. For this reason, they had better not worry about it anymore.
YanıtlaSilThis week, our topic was 'Time Travel.' It was really exciting, and interesting. First of all, I want to talk about its possibility. It is possible, but if we want to do it, we have to be faster than speed of light, but unfortunately, we can't do it. I hope one day, a person will do it. Secondly, this week's reading text was perfect. I really liked it. It was very exciting. While I was reading it, I wasn't bored at all. Also, there was a unique information in the text. According to the text, Albert Einstein made some predictions about the topic. Then some scientists researched it, and they realized that Albert Einstein was right. He realized some things about the topic many years ago. I hadn't known this information before I read the text. In addition, the author talked about a thing in the text. Its name was gravity. It was an unbelievable thing because I couldn't imagine it. For this reason, I didn’t understand it. Furthermore, if I had a chance to travel in time, I would like to go to my childhood because I was very happy, when I was a child. I didn't have bad habits, and bad friends in my life. Finally, our teacher shown us a video about our topic in the lesson. There was a man who traveled in time. He had a girlfriend before he traveled in time. After he had traveled in time, he never saw her. For this reason, he wasn’t happy because of time travel. After I watched the video, I thought about time travel a few minutes. I asked a question my classmates. Was time travel useful or harmful for people. I don’t know this question’s answer. I think everybody should think about this question? Am I right?
YanıtlaSilOur last topic in this term was really interesting. It is about the time. Reading it, I really enjoyed. According to the passage, a search is now under way to confirm the suspected existence of particles of matter that move faster than light, we can travel to the past or to the future, but some scientists say that when a substance moves faster with standing acceleration, this object loses its mass, so it is really difficult to move as fast as light. According to the text again, speed is not the only factor that slows time; so does gravity. Einstein determined in his General Theory of Relativity that the force of an object’s gravity curves the space in the object’s gravitational field. Gravity also must curve time because space and time are linked. This information is really interesting because both speed and gravity affects the time. Also there is an example of what you can expect if tomorrow’s space-flight technology in the text enables you to move at ultrahigh speeds. As a result, I want to search more about this topic because it is really important and exciting for me. Have a nice holiday everyone (=
